The origins of our company trace back to a humble beginning in our family’s garage, where a vision was born. In 1984, our father, a master upholsterer, realized his lifelong aspiration by establishing what was then known as LEE INTERIOR DESIGN. Shortly thereafter, our mother joined him, assuming responsibility for administration and contributing significantly to the company's growth.
What started as a modest venture quickly exceeded our expectations. We transitioned to a dedicated factory and showroom, and as our customers’ trust and referrals multiplied, so did our reputation. As the business grew, we expanded our reach through strategic advertising and participation in prestigious exhibitions such as Design for Living, Decorex, and Home and Garden, where our display earned a silver award for excellence. We were also honored to present our products at the international furniture fair in Cologne, Germany.
Through the years, we supplied numerous retail outlets and eventually established our own stores under the name SOFAS DIRECT. With a wealth of experience accumulated over decades, the business has now been entrusted to the next generation. Our sons have assumed leadership, rebranding the company as LEE CUSTOM FURNITURE, and are steadfast in their commitment to uphold our legacy and elevate the business to new heights.
